JourneyEAST Orientation

Orientation is a valuable first step toward a successful college career, and is a requirement of the enrollment process for all first-time EMCC students.

A JourneyEAST half-day session includes:

1. An overview of the entire college experience
2. Opportunity for one-on-one class registration with an adviser
3. Campus Tour
4. Learning to set up and use their student email and navigating LEO, EMCC’s student portal
5. Learning to use Canvas and Student Planner
6. Scholarship and Financial Aid Information

Students who will attend any EMCC location are encouraged to register for orientation since only a limited number are accepted for each session. Online JourneyEAST Orientations are available during the COVID 19 pandemic and for certain approved situations.  These situations can be discussed with your adviser

Students must have already applied for admission to EMCC and submitted any items needed for admissions by their orientation date.  Please refer to the EMCC Admissions Checklist for more information regarding admissions.

Registration fee is $20 and will be added to your student account.
